Students choosing to train as a TEFL teacher may find themselves able to ‘beat’ the current recession in the UK. With economic circumstances worsening, it makes sense to train for an international career. President Kikwete of Tanzania is very vocal on his government's committement to good governance and the rule of law yet he has failed to uphold the rule of law in the Silverdale Farm case in Tanzania despite promises to the british government he would do so. Roger Gale states Kikwete "is in the thrall to Media Baron Reginald Mengi" and has asked the British Parliament to debate the dangers of investing in Tanzania.
