AutoSlash.com, a car rental booking website begun last year, announced results today from its first holiday season indicating consumers saved $65 per rental, or nearly 30% on average. The free service, which applies coupons and discounts, tracks rental price changes over time until the pickup date, and re-books users into found savings automatically, reported that during the holiday period over 80% of its users saved money from their original booking price.
