Macro Sensors (www.macrosensors.com), a manufacturer of LVDT-based linear and rotary sensors, gaging probes, support electronics and related instrumentation, is now a Siemens Westinghouse-approved vendor for LVDT position sensors used on Westinghouse steam turbines. The LVDTs are implemented for position measurement on governor valves, throttle valves, reheat/stop valves, interceptor valves, and many other control valves.
