Dominic Clavell has been appointed International Operations Director of Synexus, (15th of May), with responsibility for the management and operation of all Synexus research centres in the UK, Eastern Europe and India. Synexus, which is based in Manchester, UK, is the largest multi national company in the recruitment and running of late stage clinical trials.

Stamford Therapeutics Consortium announced today that Tom Grotta will now lead the pharmaceutical clinical trial company as President. Grotta acquired the 12-year old company in August of 2005, and has been the firm’s acting president since January 2006. The firm specializes in clinical trials for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and is now recruiting patients for multiple studies on osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and fibromyalgia treatments.
